Centering Prayer
from April 7, 2021 7:30 pm

One of the rich spiritual practices of the Christian faith is a silent form of prayer called Centering Prayer.  Although an ancient tradition, its practice has been revitalized by Trappist monk Thomas Keating and others in recent decades.  In the Bay Area, there are several Centering Prayer groups which meet weekly for prayer and scripture reflection.   One of these groups meets here in the Redwood Room on Wednesday evenings at 7:30 p.m.  Are you being called to a deeper relationship with God through a silent form of prayer? You are invited to visit the Wednesday evening group to “Come and See.”  For additional information, please visit http://contemplativeoutreach-norcal.org/ or send e-mail to pstevens6604@sbcglobal.net
