Worship Practices during Covid-19, as of July 2021

Throughout the pandemic, we have reached to stay connected with one another and with God. The ways that we do this will continue to evolve as our situation changes. We have now begun to regather in-person for indoor Sunday services in our sanctuary. We are doing so thoughtfully and carefully in compliance with state, county, and diocesan guidelines. You are welcome to join us for worship every Sunday morning. Our current worship practices, as of July 11, 2021, are detailed below.

Holy Eucharist (communion service)
Sundays at:
8:00 am (in-person, without music and not live-streamed)
10:15 am (in-person, with music, and live-streamed)

The service will still be live streamed for those who feel safer at home.
  • Bishop Marc Andrus, Episcopal Bishop of the Diocese of California, has asked that all worshipers wear masks while indoors, even if fully vaccinated, in solidarity with our children and those who cannot be vaccinated, and also out of an abundance of caution around the emerging variants. Worship leaders will not be masking during the service, and all are fully vaccinated.
  • Everyone can sing!
  • We are no longer asking folks to sign up to attend worship in person — just come!
  • We will continue sharing communion bread, but not the cup.
  • We will gather for coffee hour afterwards outside on the plaza.
  • As ever, if you are feeling at all unwell, please stay home and join us by live stream.
