Being Seen

In the third week of Advent, we’re diving into the call of John the Baptist and the launch of St. Lucy’s, a new Episcopal church plant in Berkeley. St. Lucy’s, named after the patron saint of light, is all about creating a space where people can be seen and embraced for who they truly are. John’s message to prepare for change is a challenge for all of us—how can our everyday actions help build a more loving, just world? St. Lucy’s invites us to open our hearts and see others with fresh eyes, making room for God’s Kingdom to grow.
