Annual pledges support everything we do at Church of the Resurrection, and your pledge commitments give us a financial foundation upon which to develop our programs and our budget. First Time Pledger?
Are you new to Church of the Resurrection? No matter how you found us, we are so glad that you are here! One amazing thing about this church is that the majority of what we do as a community is made possible by your financial support. A “pledge” is a financial promise you make to the church for the coming calendar year. Most importantly, pledging is a spiritual practice of generosity and a tangible way of giving thanks to God.

We are grateful that you honor the importance of giving back a portion of the gifts that God has given to you. By leading our parish in this way, your financial support has a direct impact on the ministry we can live out together. Thank you for your consistent pledging. Consistent Giver?
Consistent givers are members or regular visitors who contribute financially to the life and work of Church of the Resurrection, but do not submit a pledge card. If you are already giving consistently, know that we greatly appreciate your support! We invite you to consider making a pledge for 2022, so that we may better plan the church’s budget. Your pledge will enable Church of the Resurrection to grow ministries, expand our outreach efforts, and dream big together.
Building our Community
Last year we achieved a balanced budget, thanks to your generosity. With your help we can continue to build programs, expand care, and meet our financial obligations in 2024.
We ask you to consider your commitment to faith and how that shapes your financial choices. Your giving can help you build stronger social connections and even jumpstart a cascade of generosity throughout this community.
In 2024 we will continue to focus with care on our finances and find creative approaches to challenges of being a church in the 21st century. Your support is vital as income from pledges funds nearly all our operational expenses.
We are excited about the ministries underway at Resurrection and are confident that with careful stewardship of our collective resources, we can have a profound impact both within the church and in our wider community.
Greater opportunities are possible as we welcome more and more people into our growing community. Amazing momentum is underway, and now is the time to run with this contagious spirit. Growing our Future
Our proposed budget for 2024 will build up the life of our congregation in many wonderful ways. One of the most exciting changes we hope to make is increasing Rev. Whitney’s position from 75% to a full-time Associate Rector. By doing so, we will expand our ministry programs, enrich our support of lay leaders, and increase pastoral care. Other highlights include:
- Increasing our Youth Ministry
- Growing our Children’s Ministry, focusing on supporting young families
- Strengthening our Music Program; welcoming more guest musicians
- Investing further in our lay leaders’ participation in the College for Congregational Development
- Expanding our Parish Life offerings, creating more ways for people to connect
- Building out our outreach efforts in support of our neighbors in need
- Launching Stephen Ministry, a comprehensive lay pastoral care ministry
